What's
an irregular? MMS's mattress pads passes rigorous quality tests. If flaws
are found in the fabric or construction, or the color, finish, or size differ
from our standard, items are discounted and sold as irregular. Such imperfections
are small and often difficult to find. Magnetic quality, concentration, penetration
and efficacy are still the same!

Construction
of Irregular Pads
1) Type
of mattress material -
a) Quilting
- You need to find out what the mattress quilting is composed of. We use
superior-quality Damask that is found only on $1,000 plus dollar mattresses.
This gives you maximum durability, aesthetic and tactile appeal! Moreover,
the quilting is digitally stitched. This guarantees uniform quilting pattern,
and drastically reduces loose strings.
b) Foam
- Many companies are using cheap foam that will wear out in less than 2
years, or using almost no foam. Obviously, you don't want to feel the magnets
when you lie on your magnet mattress pad. We use high quality rigid foam
in our mattress pads. (1.50 compression and .15 density-top). Our pad contains
1.5" thick top foam to provide maximum support. Most competitors'
are using 1.3 compression and .33 density material or less.
When
you are relaxing on top of our magnets mattress pad, you will not feel
any uncomfortable magnet bumps!
c) Non-toxic,
Odorless Glue - This is fairly self explanatory. Why would you want to
sleep in a bed of nasty smelling glue? We use a spaced aged non-toxic hot
melt glue. So you are assured of maximum comfort and long-term stability
of magnets.
2) Type of magnet
a) Polarization
of magnet - Many overseas magnet mattress pads still use bipolar magnets.
All the medical mattress pad studies I have read to date, e.g. Tufts, UVA,
Tokyo Univ., etc, have used magnet mattress pads containing unipolar magnets.
More specifically, bionorth (-) magnets were faced towards the body in
the above studies. Our magnet mattress pads use unipole magnets - bionorth
towards the body!
b) Manf.
Gauss Rating - Many overseas magnet mattress pad manufactures are using
800-1200 Manf. Rated Gauss magnets. These magnets are not as powerful as
the 3,950 Manf. Rated Gauss ceramic magnets that we use.
