Travel Mattress Pads

For a stronger magnetic field, for enhanced comfort, our Majestic travel pad is just what you need. We start with a balanced magnet pattern to minimize field fluctuation. The magnets are shaped like coins and are a 3950 Gauss rated material. We use the round-disc magnets for their superior performance. The round-disc magnet that we use creates the most even field possible. This is because flux lines are curved lines, radiating from pole to pole of the magnet. Any time you disturb the round shape of the magnet (such as a square or rectangle) you disturb the smooth contour of the flux lines. When you disturb the flow of the flux lines inefficiencies result. The inefficiencies are less magnetic strength & field penetration in relation to the size, the shape and the weight of the magnet.

In our testing, a 1” diameter disc magnet ¼” thick has 1.6 times the strength at 60% of the weight as a 1 7/8”x 7/8”domino shaped magnet 3/16” thick. All testing was done using ceramic magnets of 3950 gauss rated material. We also manufacture our Mattress Pads using the dominoe-shaped magnets, but since our research shows the superiority of the round-disc, that is what we primarily sell because of the superior performance. These magnets are nestled carefully in the valleys of hospital grade convoluted finger-foam as you can see below.

The finger-foam keeps the magnets close enough to the body for maximum field penetration while minimizing the physical bulk of the magnet, allowing you to get a more comfortable night’s sleep. The finger-foam has the added benefit of providing a reduced pressure point sleeping surface. Under the magnets, a ½ oz. fiber pad is quilted to 50/50 cotton-poly blend fabric for a natural non-skid surface.

Over the magnets, our ¾ oz. structural fiber pad is quilted to a fine jacquard damask fabric. We bond these layers and magnets together using state-of-the-art hot melt process. The adhesive itself is an inert product; this means no dangerous chemical solvents to pollute the air, stink up your house, or affect the air you breathe while you sleep. All these features combine to give you an incredibly comfortable sleeping experience.
